10-15 years ago it wasn’t as easy as it is now. The popularity of the internet made it much easier but still in some cases it can be VERY challenging.
For example as a plumber you have an extremely big obstacle to overcome here in case you want to advertise the conventional way. It’s very hard to know who has a clogged toilet. Also, the costumers don’t wait for an ad to pop up on their screen. They don’t even look at billboards to find a plumber.
They usually just search it up on google.
In that case SEO (Search engine optimization) or paid google ads would be the easiest path. Sure you can pull it off with a Facebook ad if you’re an expert but I would still recommend marketing on google.
