STOP USING HUMOUR IN ADS…. NOW!!

You may seem to like humour when seeing an ad.

It’s feels less like they want to shove something down your throat. And it is simply tempting to watch the full ad.

So why would you want to exclude them?

Let me explain.

If you see an ad which is funny, you will remember it for ages. You will remember of Every Single Little Detail of it except one thing.

When you try to recall it you’ll realize that you remember the offer, the product, the story, the background, the colors, etc… but you won’t remember the brand.

The whole point of the ad would’ve been to sell you something. And when you would decide to buy you can’t remember whose product it was.

And yeah sure, if you are the best marketer in the world you can pull it off once or twice, but even the biggest brands get this wrong a lot of the times.

They get derailed. They don’t focus on selling, they focus on entertaining their customers. And that is just a waste of money.

Conclusion: Stay away from humour and use the SIMPLE technique.
